With the abundance of products and businesses showcased at a trade show, it can be daunting to grab people’s attention. Yana Mohanty, founder and CEO of Imathgination, talks about her experience in getting all eyes on her, on a budget.

​​My problem was how to get people's attention at a large maths convention on a small budget. My creative solution was to use my construction tool to build something that was relevant to the place where the convention was taking place.

So, for example, my first convention was in San Francisco. So I used my construction tool to make a small model of the Golden Gate Bridge, which of course is the most famous San Francisco landmark. And it got me a lot of attention. People thought it was really cute. They were stopping by. They were taking selfies with my Golden Gate Bridge. And I continued doing this for years to come for future conferences.
