SES, the largest satellite company in the world, with a 30 year legacy, was facing stiff competition from new-age satellite companies like Space X.
Ekstasy was asked to reposition the SES brand and take it on a storytelling path globally over a 3 year period to increase brand awareness and generate new leads.
We created a communication strategy and content plan for the 36 month period, and decided to launch multiple campaigns at different stages.
The idea was to help SES become more human using the B2C style storytelling. So we suggested they champion the end-end customer who they touch indirectly, via their direct customers who might be governments, cruise lines, airlines, mobile network operators, hospitals, humanitarian organisations and others.
First, we conceptualised and launched a 5 part 3D animation series and a landing page for lead capture.
Then followed by over 100 video and image assets in a double exposure style that we created from scratch so that their global marketing and sales teams can use original content and slowly replace all their stock library.
